Why is our gear knob more expensive than the gear knobs from various competitors?
Cheap shifters are usually not made of real burl wood veneer, but simply have a burl wood look. Such gear knobs are first painted with a wood color and then processed with a sponge to create this wooden look. They are then covered with a 2-component clear varnish.
Our gear knobs are veneered with high-quality real wood and then covered with polyester resin.
