This guide plate is the early version from 1963-1967 without lighting. You can recognize this early switching gate by the fact that the labeling is: P / R / 4 / 4/ 3 / 2 is on the left.  In the later backdrop, the inscription is on the right side.

This shift gate would also fit the later models.
